Ed Roback, head of the Computer Security Division at National Institute of Standards and Technology, will leave his post to join the Treasury Department June 26.
There, he will become associate chief information officer for cybersecurity. "Everybody moves on," Treasury CIO Ira Hobbs said.
Roback is "well thought of in the community and just a wonderful person. We're very excited about him coming to Treasury," Hobbs added.
