The Labor Department has launched a new Web site that should provide government contracting officials easier access to obtaining wage determinations.

The Labor Department has launched a new Web site that should provide government contracting officials easier access to obtaining wage determinations.Labor said the site, , provides information for contracting agencies on how to select appropriate wage determinations for contract actions and access to the most current determinations under the Service Contract Act and Davis-Bacon Act.Wage Determinations OnLine also provides contracting officers a portal to Labor’s Web site for submitting a request for Service Contract Act wage determinations for use on official contract actions. The portal enables the submission of electronic Standard Form 98 for any Service Contract Act-covered contract action.The site is part of the Integrated Acquisition Environment, one of the 25 e-government projects sponsored by the Office of Management and Budget, and is a collaborative effort by OMB, the General Services Administration, and the departments of Commerce, Defense, Energy and Labor.
