Lockheed Martin announced the company will lead a nine-company industry team pursuing the Army’s $20 billion Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-2 Services contract.
Lockheed Martin announced Wednesday the company will lead a nine-company industry team pursuing the Army’s $20 billion Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-2 Services (ITES-2S) contract.
The company’s IT business unit will lead a team of four large and midsize businesses and five small businesses. They include:
* Blackhawk Management.
* CACI International.
* Cordev.
* Daston.
* Dynamix.
* ManTech International.
* PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
* SMS Data Products.
* SRA International.
“As an incumbent ITES contract holder, we have learned lessons about choosing the right team,” said Sonia Schmitt, capture manager at Lockheed Martin IT, in a statement. “We have been selective in choosing firms that contribute strong past performance in Army IT contracts, and our teammates truly understand how to be successful in performance-based contracting.”
The company’s team also includes vendors that provide solutions, including Cisco Systems, Dell, McAfee Associates and Sophos. It also consists of 15 other small businesses not mentioned in the statement.
The Lockheed-led team will compete against other teams, including one led by Northrop Grumman, which announced its team members Sept. 7. Northrop Grumman’s team of seven large and small businesses includes Multimax and Titan.
The Army released the solicitation for the ITES-2S contract Sept. 6. Contract proposals are due Oct. 7.
