Air Force picks SI Int'l for sat programs
The integrator will provide systems engineering, integration analysis and other services for several military satellite programs.
SI International will provide technical support to the Air Force Space Command, Directorate of Requirements, Space-Based Military Satellite Communications Branch under a new task order.
The order has a one-year base period with four one-year options. The contract’s value is $20 million over five years, if all options are exercised. The integrator will provide information technology systems engineering, integration analysis and other services for several military satellite programs.
SI will use object-oriented modeling to define the complex, globally networked communications systems of the future. These modeling techniques take advantage of SI's core competency in network-centric enterprise architecture.
