Anteon acquires Milestone Group

Anteon has acquired Milestone Group in a $31.5 million transaction that the integrator said will bolster its position at the Missile Defense Agency.

Milestone, based in Arlington, Va., focuses on three service lines: enterprise architecture and systems, information assurance, and program and financial management. The company has more than 120 employees, about 90 percent of whom hold security clearances. The company generated more than $21 million in revenue for the 12-month period that ended Sept. 30.

Anteon announced the acquisition today.

Most of Milestone’s revenue comes through contracts with the Missile Defense Agency. The company’s work at the agency includes providing program support at the Joint National Integration Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. Milestone also does business with the Defense Information Systems Agency, Army and FBI.
