Anteon head gets Army award

Joseph Kampf, president and chief executive officer of Anteon International, will receive an award in honor of the company's work with the Army. The Association of the United States Army has chosen Kampf to receive the 2005 John W. Dixon Award, which AUSA gives each year to an industry leader for "distinguished service resulting in outstanding contributions to national defense."

Anteon supports a wide range of Army programs, including simulation and training solutions that are preparing forces for combat, logistics systems modernization, weaponry support systems and enterprisewide information technology architecture.

“I am delighted that the AUSA selected me for this honor," Kampf said in a written statement. "This award validates the success that Anteon has demonstrated toward the goal of advancing national security and supporting our servicemen and women around the world."

Kampf will receive the award today at AUSA's annual meeting in Washington D.C.
