National Security Research is CACI's first new acquisition since May 2004.
CACI International has completed the acquisition of National Security Research, the integrator's first acquisition in more than a year.
National Security Research, which concentrates on homeland security, command and control, and related areas, reported $17 million in revenue for the fiscal year that ended Nov. 30, 2004. The employee-owned company is based in Arlington, Va.
The company’s contract vehicles include the General Services Administration’s Professional Engineering Services contract and the Naval Sea Systems Command’s Seaport Enhanced Program.
CACI’s last acquisition came in May 2004, when it acquired the defense and intelligence group of American Management Systems.
Earlier this year, CACI executives said the company was looking to acquire companies with homeland security business, among other areas.
