Air Force awards support contracts
Six companies will vie for Air Force Contract Augmentation Program III task orders.
The Air Force awarded six contracts earlier this week under the $10 billion Air Force Contract Augmentation Program III initiative.
The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity deals provide temporary planning and deployment services for the Defense Department and government agencies supporting military forces. The services include nation building, disaster and humanitarian response, and operations related to the global war on terrorism, a Nov. 8 DOD statement states.
The contracts awarded by the Air Force’s Air Education and Training Command cover 10 years. The six winners are:
