GSA picks new capital region head
Annie Everett will become acting regional administrator for the region Dec. 12.
Annie Everett, deputy regional administrator of the General Services Administration's National Capital Region, will become acting regional administrator for the region Dec. 12.
She will replace Donald Williams, who is leaving the post Dec. 9.
Everett has more than 30 years of federal service, much of it with GSA.
“I have known and worked with Ann for many years, and her experience with [the National Capital Region] and GSA made this not only an ideal choice but a very easy choice,” said Acting Administrator David Bibb in a written statement. “I look forward to working with Ann, and I have full confidence that she will perform in this role as she has consistently throughout her career — with distinction.”
