Robert Dickson joins Apptis
In his federal career, Dickson served on the Government Information Technology Executive Council board of directors.
Apptis has named Robert Dickson as senior vice president for strategic initiatives. As such, he will focus on national security issues. Dickson joins Apptis from Maxim Associates, a federal market consulting and research company that he founded.
Dickson retired from the Senior Executive Service at the State Department, where he was executive director and director of acquisitions. In his federal career, he served on the Government Information Technology Executive Council board of directors and the National Contract Management Association board of advisers. He also was co-chairman of the Industry Advisory Council’s Executive Leadership Conference and received the council's Outstanding Federal Contributor Award.
Apptis, a privately held IT services company in Chantilly, Va., reported revenue of $600 million in 2004.
