Apogen chooses director of civilian government

Tim Green, the group manager of Apogen Technologies' defense systems group, has been promoted to group vice president and general manager of the company’s federal civilian division.

In his new position, Green will oversee the company's work with the Census Bureau, the Treasury and Agriculture departments, and other civilian agencies. The division also manages the Total Information Processing Support Services-3 (TIPSS-3) contract through which Apogen provides information technology infrastructure support services to the Internal Revenue Service and Treasury.

“Tim’s extensive experience in the contracting industry combined with his natural leadership skills position him for great success leading this important sector of our business,” said Paul Leslie, Apogen's president, in a statement.
