The Navy is using the Army’s HRsolutions contract to help sailors affected by Hurricane Katrina.
The Navy Fleet and Family Support Programs chose HRsolutions to help 4,000 sailors and their families from naval bases in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama with their personal, financial and health matters in the aftermath of the hurricane. Strategic Resources is supporting the Navy task order is hiring local, displaced workers for the job, according to information from the Army’s HRXXI Program Office.
Strategic Resources was one of 12 companies to win an HRsolutions’ contract in 2004 from the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Manpower and Reserve Affairs. The performance-based program prides itself on providing HR services within 60 days of receiving project requests.
