Software provider adds execs

Synchris, a company based in Sterling, Va., that provides software for contractors, has added two vice presidents to oversee product management and marketing.

Privia, Synchris' primary offering, allows contractor employees to collaborate on bid response and task order management, with capabilities including document management, configurable workflow, reporting and comprehensive search.

The new executives were hired to support the company's launch of a hosted, on-demand version of Privia.

Annie Eissler is joining the company as vice president of product marketing. Scott Hiles is the new vice president of product management.

Hiles has worked at Sprint and FOLIOfn, an online brokerage service, developing a background in application service provider operations. Eissler has led or worked in marketing for Communication Technologies and PSINet. She also served as director of e-business for Airlines Reporting, a data warehousing and business intelligence firm.

"We intend to make even greater strides than we have already in the government contracting space, where much room remains for expansion of Privia’s market share. Eissler and Hiles also give us the ability to think in even bigger terms about the opportunities that exist for Synchris.”

The company was founded in 2003 under the name MAP ROI Systems. In 2005 the company acquired the assets of Privia, which specialized in software to automate the qualification, development and delivery of commercial bids on large government contracts. The company changed its name to Synchris in September 2005.
