SRA protests $19B Army pact
Integrator is on two of the winning teams but is protesting its loss of a bid to be a prime contractor on an Army contract.
SRA has protested the Army’s $19.25 billion Strategic Services Sourcing contract.
The protest was filed March 20 with the Government Accountability Office. Renny DiPentima, SRA’s president and chief executive officer, mentioned the protest during a teleconference convened to discuss the company's latest earnings report.
The company is protesting its loss as a prime contractor but is a member of two of the teams awarded the contract, he added.
The Army’s Communications-Electronics Lifecycle Management Command awarded the Strategic Services Sourcing pact to four large companies and three small businesses. The large-business prime contractors are Booz Allen Hamilton, CACI International, Computer Sciences Corp. and Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems. The small companies are Sensor Technologies, USfalcon and Viatech.
The services contract aims to support command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems.
The company can expect GAO to issue a protest decision by June 28, according to the GAO's protest case docket.
