Max Peterson out at CDW-G

The vice president of federal sales has left the company, effective today.

Max Peterson, vice president of federal sales at CDW Government, has left the company, effective today, a corporate public affairs official confirmed.

The spokeswoman declined to provide more information, citing company policy.

As vice president, Peterson was responsible for increasing sales in the federal sector by strengthening CDW-G's focus on customer service.

Peterson is a government industry veteran with nearly two decades of experience. He was vice president of public sector at Commerce One before joining the CDW-G team. He also held senior management positions at GTSI and Semaphore. In addition, he worked in many technical and marketing positions in various divisions at IBM.

Peterson is a member of the Council for Excellence in Government, AFCEA International and the Federation of Government Information Processing Councils.
