Robbins-Gioia acquires Parks Consulting

Transaction expands Robbins-Gioia's reach in markets and geography.

Robbins-Gioia, an Alexandria, Va.-based management consulting company to government agencies and Fortune 500 companies, has acquired Parks Consulting of Charlotte, N.C. Terms of the transaction, which took effect June 1, were not released.

Robbins-Gioia was attracted to Parks Consulting because of its expertise in banking and regulatory compliance and its strong presence in Charlotte and within the financial services industry, according to a statement announcing the transaction.

Founded in 1995, Parks Consulting has evolved from a regional project management boutique to a national firm with banking clients such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Wachovia.

Robbins-Gioia’s clients include four military branches, the Defense Logistics Agency and the Justice Department.
