Advantech division promotes federal sales director

Advantech Satellite Networks, a division of Advantech, announced the promotion of Michael Pollack to vice president of government sales.

Pollack will lead all aspects of Advantech Satellite Networks’ government business, reporting to Don Osborne, president of Advantech Satellite Networks, from the company’s office in Rockville, Md.

Pollack joined the company in October 2005 as director of federal sales and has focused his efforts on the government’s SatCom Market.

Advantech Satellite Networks’ products support U.S. Central Command initiatives in Southwest Asia, equipping ground operators of unmanned aerial vehicles with real-time video and data capabilities. The company’s products are also used to provide instant communications infrastructure to first responders and emergency response.
