TSA awards $20M contract for info security
Knowledge Consulting Group will provide services to the Transportation Security Agency's IT Security Office, director of IT security and the Office of the CIO.
The Homeland Security Department has awarded Knowledge Consulting Group (KCG), a small-business information technology professional services firm, a five-year, $20 million blanket purchase agreement for DHS’ Transportation Security Administration’s IT Security Office.
KCG will provide information security assurance services to TSA’s IT Security Office, director of IT security and the Office of the Chief Information Officer.
Under the first task order, worth about $3.4 million in the first calendar year, the company will begin its on-site support to TSA within the next 30 days.
Computer Sciences Corp. will serve as subcontractor on the program.
Reston, Va.-based KCG is working with CSC on the Justice Department’s IT Security Support contract.
KCG has worked with several federal agencies, including the departments of Justice, Health and Human Services, Defense and Veterans Affairs.
