EDS appoints client industry executive
Judith Douglas recently served as vice president of leadership and performance at the Council for Excellence in Government.
EDS has named Judith Douglas client industry executive for U.S. government business.
Douglas has 20 years of service in government and industry at the federal, state and local levels, and she has focused on improving the government’s ability to work effectively across sector and organizational boundaries, according to an EDS statement issued today.
She most recently served as vice president of leadership and performance at the Council for Excellence in Government, where she helped shape cross-sector professional communities. She led the Excellence in Government Fellows Program for high-level federal employees and launched the CIO Boot Camp for newly hired government chief information officers.
As a director at the General Services Administration from 1993 to 1996, Douglas headed the Trail Boss community of top federal leaders responsible for the successful use of technology.
Douglas was one of five principals in the Government Consulting Services group at EDS from 1996 to 2003. She led the development of the company’s first global e-government strategy and developed new offerings in enterprise architecture and risk assessment.
