Apptis has hired Kenneth Savoie as program manager of its National Security Sector.
Savoie, a retired Coast Guard officer, will lead Apptis’ business with the Coast Guard and Homeland Security Department. With more than 27 years of management experience in field operations and information technology for the Coast Guard, Savoie’s expertise will be of great value to these key accounts, an Apptis announcement states.
Before his retirement in August with the rank of captain, Savoie was commanding officer of the Coast Guard’s operations center in Martinsburg, W.Va., where he managed a $49 million budget with a staff of more than 430 military, civilian and contractor personnel.
