NetStar-1 buys RGII Technologies

NetStar-1, an information technology solutions provider to government and industry, announced today that it has completed the purchase of RGII Technologies, the federal government consulting services subsidiary of Computer Horizons.

The purchase price was $15.3 million in cash, NetStar-1 said in an announcement.

RGII is a solutions provider of high-end technology and program management to federal, state and local government agencies. The company's solutions and services include enterprise management, network infrastructure, information assurance and security, Web development and integration, program management, call management, engineering technology, and technical services.

The transaction adds a broad array of civilian and defense agency clients, and experience in application development to NetStar-1’s existing expertise in infrastructure design and security services.

NetStar-1 said the combined company will have more than 500 employees serving government and commercial clients at locations in Raleigh, N.C.; Denver; Knoxville, Tenn.; Atlanta; Fort Worth, Texas; Oklahoma City; Atlantic City, N.J.; and New York City.

The combined company’s major federal customers include the Labor, State, Commerce and Defense departments and the Federal Aviation Administration.
