OPM creates online program finder
A new section of the OPM Web site allows users to find any professional development program in the government.
The Office of Personnel Management has created a comprehensive catalog of professional development programs offered by the federal government and made the information accessible online.
Called the Federal Leadership Development Program (FedLDP), the new section of OPM's Web site includes a library of the programs government departments and agencies offer. OPM Director Linda Springer said it is an easy one-stop reference for federal employees seeking to reinforce or expand their skills.
OPM will add to the catalog frequently, so Springer said users should check it often.
"FedLDP will provide more opportunities for federal employees who lead, or aspire to lead, as team leaders, supervisors, managers and executives," Springer added.
