Wennergren to be DOD deputy CIO
Dave Wennergren, the Navy Department's CIO, has been tapped to be the Defense Department's deputy CIO replacing Priscilla Guthrie
Defense Department chief information officer John Grimes has hired Dave Wennergren, the Navy Department's CIO, to be his deputy.
Wennergren will replace Patricia Guthrie and will report to the Pentagon at the end of November.
Wennergren has been at the Navy for 26 years. It is believed that he will continue to be the vice-chairman of the CIO Council.
A decision on Wennergren's replacement has not been determined.
