Government Acquisitions hires Lambke as new executive VP
As executive vice president, Jay Lambke will lead the company’s sales and growth efforts.
Government Acquisitions, an information technology provider to the federal government, has hired Jay Lambke as executive vice president to lead the company’s sales and growth efforts.Lambke has more than 16 years of experience with organizations that serve the IT needs of the federal, state, local and education markets, the company said.He was most recently president of Prism Pointe Technologies, a global IT services company, and before that he led GovConnection. Lambke was also vice president and general manager of institutional markets at Gateway, managing $1.6 billion in annual revenue. He began his IT career at Tech Data Corp., where he launched the public-sector business.“Jay has excellent and unique experience selling IT solutions to the federal space from many different perspectives,” said Dennis Obial, president and chief executive officer of Government Acquisitions, in a statement today. “His experience presiding as the president of multiple IT solution providers will help Government Acquisitions formulate strategic business and shepherd the company smartly as it continues to achieve year-over-year record growth.”
