Davis creates whistle-blower line

Rep. Tom Davis (R-Va.), ranking member on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, established an e-mail address, an anonymous whistle-blower hot line and an online reform suggestion box to help citizens communicate with the committee. The Republican committee Web site invites anyone with information about waste, fraud or abuse, or anyone who has identified a needed reform to provide information anonymously. The e-mail address is . Committee staff will review all communications and act on those within the committee’s jurisdiction. “Real oversight gathers evidence and follows the facts to sound conclusions,” Davis said. “Real reform starts with good ideas from the people. Whether the subject is Iraq reconstruction or why Sandy Berger never was given a polygraph, we want to help gather the facts that drive constructive oversight.”
