DOE awards $135M contract to SCI Consulting Services
The Hispanic woman-owned small business will be responsible for end-user support, server and database management and other IT services at the department's facilities in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
The Department of Energy has awarded SCI Consulting Services an information technology support services contract for its Oak Ridge, Tenn., Office of Science, Environmental Management and National Nuclear Security Administration.According to SCI, the small business set-aside contract is worth $135 million over five years.SCI, a Hispanic woman-owned small business based in Vienna, Va., will be responsible for end-user support, server and database management, systems software, help-desk and data center operations, as well as operational hardware and software support.SCI has an 11-year relationship with DOE, and works with the department in Nevada, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Tennessee.
