ImmixGroup names new president
ImmixGroup announced today that it has promoted Art Richer to president. Jeff Copeland, immixGroup's co-founder, remains the company's chief executive officer and chairman.
In his new position, Richer assumes full daily responsibility for the company's $300 million technology representation business and its channel programs and government contract management services. In addition, Richer assumes full responsibility for corporate operations, marketing, and the company's newest offering, Adaptable Payment Solutions.
Richer is credited with building immixGroup's technology representation business 10 years ago. Today it represents the majority of immixGroup's business. Since then Richer has held several positions at the company, including president of technology representation and senior vice president of immixGroup. He is most recently credited with the immixGroup's receiving the NASA Scientific and Engineering Workstation Procurement IV governmentwide acquisition contract in March.
Richer has about 20 years' experience selling information technology products and services within the government sector. He has worked with technology manufacturers of all sizes, including very large and established companies such as IBM and Symantec and numerous emerging technology firms.
Along with Copeland and co-founder and Executive Vice President Steve Charles, Richer holds a seat on immixGroup's board of directors.
