Robbins-Gioia names president of commercial division
Woody Mewborn has been named president of Robbins-Gioia's commercial division, the company announced today.
Mewborn has 37 years of strategic and tactical sales and sales management experience in the information technology industry.
Robbins-Gioia's commercial division consists of the financial services, private-sector/commercial and international groups.
Mewborn came to Robbins-Gioia from Sun Microsystems, where he was acting vice president for Sun Federal sales. He started at Sun in 1999 and held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in sales and strategic alliances. Before Sun, Mewborn established Esprit Consulting in Atlanta, as a change management consulting firm. He began his sales career at Unisys/Burroughs in 1970.
