NTIS names associate directors for business
The Commerce Department's National Technical Information Service (NTIS) has appointed two associate directors: Don Hagen for product and program management and Shannon Burrington for business development.
Hagen joined NTIS in April, transferring from the Government Printing Office, where he was the business development officer. Before joining GPO in September 2004, he was managing director of the Kraus Organization, where he developed and implemented business plans, and was operational manager at Bernan Associates, Bernan Press, the Kraus Curriculum Development Library and Bernan Government Solutions.
Burrington has 30 years of government experience, having worked at the Interior Department, the U.S. Postal Service and the Air Force. Most recently, she was chief of the Client Support Branch at Interior's GovWorks Federal Acquisition Service and USPS' marketing manager for Northern Virginia.
