Letter: Bush to nominate new DHS general counsel

President Bush said last week that he intends to nominate Gus Coldebella to be general counsel at the Homeland Security Department. Coldebella began working at DHS in October 2005 as deputy general counsel, and has been the principal officer in charge of that office since February. Before that, he was a partner at Goodwin Procter in Boston. Earlier in his career, he was a special assistant district attorney at the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office in East Cambridge, Mass.
