Ninth House hires VP for Federal Division

James Sharpe joins Ninth House as vice president of the company’s Federal Division.

Sharpe was at IBM, where he developed and executed the company’s global learning technology and solution strategies. During his 16 years at the company, he drove the growth of IBM’s e-learning solutions business, including the Education and Training division's transformation into IBM Learning Solutions, Mindspan Solutions and Learning EBO. Before that, Sharpe was manager of advanced systems at General Dynamics’ Tactical Systems Division.

Most recently, Sharpe was IBM’s global director of human resources and learning applications technology within the Business Transformation Outsourcing division.
