Mass. puts IT staffing firm to work
Atlantic Associates has begun providing business analysts, project managers and other technology specialists through the commonwealth's staff augmentation program.
Atlantic Associates reported this week that it has begun making personnel placements under a wide-ranging staff augmentation contract with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The Boston-area company's Information Technology Staff Augmentation Contract with the state will run through 2009. The company has worked as a preferred vendor with the state for the past nine years.
The contract lets state government organizations obtain “information technology Technical Specialist services,” according to Atlantic Associates. Those services include the placement of business analysts, project managers, programmer analysts and database administrators, among others, a company spokesman said.
The spokesman said Atlantic Associates was one of 17 companies selected to receive awards under the ITS33 contract, adding that 50 companies offered bids. The awards were made earlier this year.
