CXtec names CIO

Ray Oliver will be responsible for planning and implementing enterprise information systems to support sales, marketing and business efforts.

CXtec, a global provider of new and certified pre-owned computer networking and technology equipment, has appointed Ray Oliver as chief information officer, the company announced today.  


Oliver will provide technology vision and leadership in the development and implementation of companywide information technology programs. He will be responsible for planning and implementing enterprise information systems to support sales, marketing and business efforts, and in achieving more effective and cost beneficial companywide IT operations. 


Before joining CXtec, Oliver held executive-level IT positions at organizations such as Genpact, formerly GE Capital International, and Pepsi-Cola Bottling Group. He was also an officer in the Navy.
