Senate confirms four DHS nominees
The jobs include assistant secretary of ICE and assistant administrator of FEMA.
The Senate voted to confirm four top Homeland Security Department nominees Dec. 19.
They are:
- Robert Jamison, undersecretary of the National Protection and Programs Directorate.
- Julie Myers, assistant secretary at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
- Dr. Jeffrey Runge, chief medical officer and assistant secretary at the Office of Health Affairs.
- Ross Ashley, assistant administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
