Ex-NASA CIO joins Asynchrony Solutions

Sam Venneri, a former NASA chief technology officer and chief information officer, has joined Asynchrony Solutions as senior vice president. 

In this position, Venneri will apply his experience with the company’s agile software development methodology and rapid prototyping to help government agencies and commercial markets improve and expand their product applications.

Venneri’s 20-year career at NASA focused on transforming advanced technology research into practical applications. He assembled interdisciplinary teams of NASA centers, commercial firms and universities to exploit advances in a broad range of research areas including telescope optics, space-based communications, propulsion, robotics and information technology.
