CIO magazine reports that DISA has held meetings with numerous major companies during the last year to discuss their use of technology.

CIO magazine reports that officials at the Defense Information Systems Agency have met with executives from Google, UPS, Amazon and other commercial firms to discuss how they develop, use and manage technology.


One topic of particular interest is cloud computing, DISA John Garing told the magazine. "Garing said he was also impressed with Google Inc.'s process of moving strong new product ideas from the laboratory to beta testing to real users in just a few months," CIO magazine states.
