FCW Insider: Jerry Williams rumored to be the next DOI deputy CIO

We hear from several people that Jerry Williams will replace Ed Meagher, who and joined SRA International. We hear that it is all but a done deal and that a formal announcement could come as soon as Monday and Williams could start as soon as Aug. 3. We're checking on it and we'll post it officially as soon as we lock it down.Williams to join the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, where he has served as director of financial improvement under Chief Financial Officer Janice Lambert.Of course, all of that reminds me that we haven't heard much from USDA in awhile, where, as far as I know, there are still vacancies among the senior career ranks at both theCIO and CFO organizations. I'll try to check on that this week... and if anybody knows anything let me know.
