Williams to follow Meagher at Interior
The former USDA deputy CIO will take the same post at Interior, with a stint in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence coming between those posts.
Jerry Williams will become the new deputy chief information officer at the Interior Department, following the tenure of Ed Meagher.Mike Howell, Interior's CIO, confirmed the rumors that had begun circulating after Meagher retired last week. Williams will officially take the position Aug. 3, Howell said.Williams has had a busy year in his career. He left the deputy CIO post at the Agriculture Department in January to serve as director of financial improvement at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
