DHS seeks model telework demonstration program

The Homeland Security Department wants to hire a consultant who can develop a model telework demonstration program for 75 departmental employees.
Under the Telework Pilot Program, the department’s chief administrative officer is seeking a small business management consultant who has experience in developing telework policies, guidelines and training along with implementing pilot projects to help workers do their jobs from remote locations. Responses are due Sept. 25.
The consultant will help establish user requirements and to select computer equipment and collaboration tools such as instant messaging, video-conferencing and desktop sharing.
