Bush to name ODNI acting CIO
President Bush plans to designate Patrick Gorman as acting chief information officer at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
President Bush plans to designate Patrick Gorman to be acting chief information officer at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the administration announced Oct. 9.Gorman joined ODNI in April 2007 and has held the roles of assistant deputy director of National Intelligence for Strategy, Plans and Policy and senior adviser. Previously, he worked in the private sector with Booz Allen Hamilton. Dale Meyerrose stepped down as ODNI's first CIO in September.
