FCW Insider: A book club for feds

Talk about a multimedia project: FCW is working with Federal News Radio to pull together a book for the federal community. The first book is "The Speed of Trust: The one thing that changes everything," by Stephen M.R. Covey.

Here's how it works: In our Nov. 17 issue, we will run an excerpt from the Covey book. On Nov. 19, at 12 noon, you can tune into Federal News Radio to hear former FCW Insider Christopher Dorobek interview Covey.

Chris will be joined by Dave Wennergren, DOD's deputy chief information officer, who puts a lot of stock in management books. With that in mind, the Nov. 17 issue will also include an interview with Wennergren about how to put management books to good use.

But this doesn't have to be a passive venture. Check out a copy of the book now and e-mail or phone in your questions and comments to Chris before Nov. 18 and he will pitch them to Covey.
