Davis will advise Deloitte’s clients on major trends, opportunities and challenges facing the federal government, according to the firm. His insight will primarily center on technology innovation and government transformation, according to a company announcement.
During his tenure as committee chairman, Davis headed several procurement reform efforts, notably as sponsor of the Services Acquisition Reform Act and the Acquisition System Improvement Act. After losing his chairmanship when the Democrats took the majority in the House in 2006, Davis served as ranking minority member with the new chairman, Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.)
