FCW Contest: Rewrite your job description as a Tweet
Many people in the federal IT community have job titles that exceed the 140 character-limit of Twitter and job descriptions that are incomprehensible to the outside world. Which makes this contest twice the fun.
Many people in the federal IT community have job titles that exceed the 140 character-limit of Twitter (spaces included) and job descriptions that are incomprehensible to the outside world. Which makes this contest twice the fun.
How would you describe your job — to a friend, perhaps, or to a child — in the form of a Tweet?
The goal is to be informative but concise, with extra points (lots of 'em) given for humor.
Post your entry/entries as a comment to this page. The winner will be announced next month on FCW.com and in Federal Computer Week.
For inspiration, check out the recent Washington Post article about a contest in which participants had to summarize the plot of an opera in 140 characters. Here was the winning entry:
"There was a young lady called Fricka Who ... who ... *snore* 'Wake up — it's over.' It's good, I just wish it were quicka."
