Kelly Olson will be vice president and have responsibility for overall management and strategic accounts.
Kelly Olson, the American Council for Technology/Industry Advisory Council's director of conferences and events, is leaving for ConnellyWorks, the organizations said today.
Olson will be vice president at ConnellyWorks. She will be managing the overall operations and providing guidance for the firm's three lines of business: public relations, marketing, and events. She will also assume responsibility for strategic accounts.
“Kelly brings to the table not only an in-depth understanding of the government IT market, but also a demonstrated ability to deliver successful programs and events for both government and industry,” said Joanne Connelly, president and chief executive officer of ConnellyWorks.
Olson leaves for ConnellyWorks at the end of June.
At ACT-IAC, Olson manages the organization’s annual conferences, events and professional development programs.
“We extend our sincere thanks for her exceptional professional contributions toward ACT-IAC’s success and for passing along her many ‘secrets to success’ to her talented staff,” Kenneth Allen, the organization’s executive director, wrote in an email to members.
Olson has worked at the organization since 2004.
