Green identifies and validates the Marine Corps' information technology requirements and provides scientific leadership in evaluating how IT is applied to operational needs.

His astute input has shaped strategies, policies and technical development, resulting in seamless data sharing, strong security and sound policies. He has also contributed his technical expertise to the Universal Core project, which enables the Defense Department, the intelligence community and the Homeland Security Department to share information.

“Green has proven himself a highly effective Marine Corps leader as well as a technical adviser,” said Ronald Zich, executive assistant to the C4 director.
