The Office of Personnel Management is encouraging federal employees eligible to telework to discuss their work plans with managers in advance of Tuesday’s expected winter storm.
OPM announced today the option for employees to participate in unscheduled leave or unscheduled telework on Tuesday due to weather conditions that may include, ice, sleet and freezing rain. These conditions could extend through Wednesday, and OPM said it will update the government’s operating status as needed and appropriate.
An update could include a delayed arrival for federal workers Tuesday morning.
