Maj. Gen. Wendy Masiello delivers. Specifically, she delivers on more than $184 billion in existing and planned services contracts across the Air Force, including the NetCents 2 program, which made it first awards in November.

She is credited with increasing small business opportunities, improving the level of competition and stepping up contractor oversight. She is fiercely committed to delivering services with effective oversight and a minimal amount of bureaucratic burden.

But she also put a lot of thought into the future of Air Force procurement, helping to craft field training, career education requirements and future force structure for Air Force contracting personnel.
