OPM has pilot program for online platform for job applicants
The new Assess online platform may eliminate the old "knowledge, skills, abilities" method of sizing up candidates.
It may soon get a little easier to apply for a government job and to pick the right applicants.
To take the place of the lengthy and complicated job assessment worksheets, the Office of Personnel Management has started a online platform named Assess, reports Government Executive.
Still in its pilot program phase for another year, the streamlined process is comprised of testing tools for the 12 most popular job types found across government and focuses on job-specific competencies.
