GSA taps acting official to lead Office of Systems Management
Judith Zawatsky will head a key office at the Federal Acquisition Service.
Judith Zawatsky, who served as chief of staff of the Federal Acquisition Service, was named as the assistant commissioner of the office responsible for integrating and unifying federal contracting award processes.
Zawatsky had been serving as acting head of the Office of Systems Management and was elevated to the job on a permanent basis, according to a Jan. 31 General Services Administration memo obtained by FCW.
OSM is in charge of FAS and governmentwide contracting systems, including the System of Award Management.
Zawatsky, a 2016 Fed 100 winner, stepped in as acting OSM assistant commissioner after Dave Zvenyach, a former acting 18F executive director, was detailed to serve as a technical advisor to FAS Commissioner Alan Thomas.
Tricia Sieveke, who had been filling in for Zawatsky in the FAS chief of staff role will take on that job on a permanent basis, according to the same memo.
