DEA extends info security contract
Science Applications International got a $9.2 million follow-on contract from the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Science Applications International Corp. will continue providing the Drug Enforcement Administration with information security support.
SAIC's Enterprise Security Solutions Group was awarded a $9.2 million follow-on contract for one base year and four option years. The company will focus on enterprisewide certification and accreditation and security engineering for the DEA's Information Security Section in the Office of Security Programs.
Under the contract, SAIC officials will provide information security services for all of the DEA's systems, including sensitive but unclassified and classified systems for accreditation approval in accordance with national, Justice Department and DEA policies. The contract extends work done for three years by SAIC.
